The use of English
Language in very important among the school students. It is an opportunity for
the student to enhance their speaking, reading, writing and listening skills
which are the five important skills students need to master. Therefore,
students must not only practice it during school hour/ english subject but also
in every conversation regardless place and time.
A consistent
use of English Language will ensure students; at their tender age
inculcate the essential skills needed. It is also focused to encourage the
students all levels in school how to appreciate the value of English Language
and how fun it is. Therefore, an English Conversation Booklet was planned by Panitia Bahasa Inggeris and English
Language Society to be implemented in SM Agama Hidayah Islamiah to mastering
students how to speak among themselves.
The event
kicked off on Monday, 9th February 2014, with the standard assembly in the Dataran
SMAHI. The Languages Senior Teacher, Sir Akhmal bin Ariffin was given the
opening speech. He explain the reason
why the booklet was published. Every
Monday and Wednesday, one of the students will conduct the conversation part by
part at the assembly. Students are
compulsary to bring that book at that day.
Then the principal, Puan Hajjah Awaitif binti Abdullah, was invited to
give a speech and subsequently officiated the opening ceremony by cutting a
ribbon. Then, a long Mastery English Conversation banner scrolled down from the
top. Launching program ended at 8.20 am.
